We understand that the investment into any taxidermy mount comes from a desire to preserve special memories, once in a lifetime trophies, or accurate depictions of living wildlife. Every mount is given special care to ensure a lifetime of preservation, as well as a second-to-none look.

THE
TAXIDERMIST
Laine Dobson grew up in Southern Colorado where he was immersed in a love for wildlife. He spent nights and weekends volunteering at a local taxidermy shop where he learned the basics of the art. After leaving home for college in Gunnison, Colorado, he continued to work for Genesis Taxidermy, where he was able to refine his skills under one of the best in the business.

In 2021, Laine and his wife, along with their 3 children, moved to Kansas and officially opened the doors of Fine Art Taxidermy. The state's abundance of trophy class deer, and local appreciation for the fine art of taxidermy, has set the stage for a thriving business and continuation of a lifelong passion for Laine and his family.
